Lionel King is a watercolourist who shares his time between inner city Sydney and the Illawarra region of south coast New South Wales. He is a landscape painter and the illustrator of three children’s books. Lionel finds inspiration in his local environment and is as enthusiastic painting urban landscapes as he is coastal scenes. His particular passion for urban landscapes is reflected in his long-term involvement with the global Urban Sketchers movement.
